It was only a matter of time before these beautiful GUI versions of popular Pokemon Go bots came out.

NecroBot & PokeMobBot are two of the most-used pokemon go bots — here is the latest downloads directly from the GitHub

Necrobot / MobBot Visualizer

project repo via github

You have to be up to date on the bot side (master or maybe latest release).
In the Visualizer, the url on the config page should match the port you configured on bot side (both have the same default).

Installer

Go to the release tab on github or here, grab the latest and just launch it.

Latest version direct repo download:

Follow all directions below. Use 32-bit version if your OS doesn’t support 64-bit.  This works with both MobBot and NecroBot. Sometimes it glitches when displaying pokemon or items.

Config and Running

Click on the small settings icon on the bottom right of the app to configure settings.

The important thing is websocket url and port. Default port is also bot default so it should just work if UseWebsocket is set to true and Port is default.

If it does not work still, make sure your bot config.json matches below

 "UseWebsocket": true,
 "WebSocketPort": 14251,

Also, it is best to launch the visualizer with Right Click -> “Run as administrator” in the case you’re also running windows Firewall

Most common error occurs when you’re not running NecroBot with a websocket setup for the GUI to control your bot from.

Instructions

Download zip file and extract all files to a folder. Then run the .exe. Make sure your NecroBot is running with websocket set to true as explained above.

Or download the setup .exe and choose installation location. Run the executable along with your NecroBot. Always check bot config for websocket info if you cannot connect to the bot.

Running from Source Code (not for new users)

  1. Install Node.js
  2. Start the node command line
  3. Navigate to your necrobotvisualizer folder
  4. To install enter: npm install
  5. To start enter: npm start

    whats wrong? its look missing some files

    • You don’t have to compile from source, if you do you must use command prompt to cd into the default folder you place the source code.
      Most users should just download the zip, extract it to a folder and run the executable (.exe).

    • If you have experience working with nodejs and apache then yes it is possible. It’s not designed to be a web app though.

  2. im new to node and when i try to navigate to the necrobot visualizer folder (C:\Users\Colin\Desktop\win-ia32-unpacked) 3 dots appear in cmd. (I did type node in after to activate it.) If you could walk me through on how to do it because using the visualizer straight through the app doesn’t work right.

  3. It doesn’t recycle the inventory and the function “Go Here” doesn’t work.
    I just want to know if they are just my problems

    • Naw this interface was designed before the bots were so the functionality in terms of using the GUI to control each bot is limited by the bot you’re using. Don’t worry it’s definitely not just you! 😉 I don’t think any bot full works with this.
